Fans just lost interest in Resistance, and that's unfortunate. I didn't buy the first one, got the 2nd and thought it was ok, got the 3rd and thought it was great! I even played the PSP game and enjoyed it as well. But facts are facts, the masses are not buying it. It's unfortunate, but the right thing to do is put the series to rest. Although it tells a great story.

As for Killzone, yeah, I think fan appeal over that is decreasing as well. I enjoyed Killzone 1-3, the psp one sucked. I just think GG is missing such a great opportunity with the setting of Killzone 2 and 3. Placing it on Helghan, they could have done so much more with that. added so much more feeling to the game. Like if the soldiers from vekta (or whatever earth is called in the game) actually roam and fight through helghan streets where helghast civilians are running for cover. If they recognized that aspect of the world, it would have made it more human and added a layer of drama to the whole affair. I mean, the civilians do not deserve you rushing in and destroying their planet. They did get shafted as a people. There are no clear evil/good sides here (I mean, they do make it clear, but the helghast were created out of desparation and dire conditions). GG could have really created a much deeper and interesting lore in the whole story to keep gamers hooked. I think if KZ4 is more of the same, thats a big faux pas on their part.
