I am very much from the 80's and while I love all of the 80's pop music, I am a metal head. The picks previous picks of AC/DC and Iron Maiden were awesome, but when people start saying that Metallica is the best I direct them to a much better band that plays similar music. Their name is Megadeth and they wrote what I consider to be the greatest speed metal song of all time and it's also kind of my theme song. Love Megadeth. I could never really get into a band like Metallica. Even their supposed masterpiece (Master of Puppets) really bored me, maybe because they take themselves too seriously. But I could listen to Rust in Peace any day. I mean, technically it's a 90s album, but the point is Megadeth is the best.
