Alrighty then, I've been thinking about signing up here on these forums to talk some games every once in a while! I figured, what better thread than this one to start?
It provides a great way to introduce myself, while also letting you guys know (if anyone's interested) what kind of gamer I am.

So, without further ado... I'm mister S. Peelman. This is of course not my actual name, but a rather cheesy (if you know the language) nickname. I'm 24 years old, and a gamer since when I was like 5.
In my early childhood, my cousins and aunt were the gamers of the family and I only wanted to play outside. They were playing NES and later SNES which gradually converted me to a gamer too!
Because of this, I am primarily a Nintendo fan, but play all kind of consoles and games. Especially when I dug up some old ones from my mother's childhood and started playing them. Overall I have two home-consoles from each generation nowadays, and even a Pong one!

But enough off-topic rambling, let's get to the actual topic of the thread; The list, it's sorted by gen:
---
G7000 (PAL Magnavox Odyssey 2) - #14-Gunfighter
Atari 2600 - Missile Command
---
Nintendo - Duck Hunt
---
Super Nintendo - Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island
Game Boy - Pokémon Blue
Sega Mega Drive (PAL Genesis) - Mortal Kombat 3
---
Sony PlayStation - Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped
Game Boy Color - The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX
Nintendo 64 - The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (#1 ever)
---
Sega Dreamcast - Crazy Taxi
Game Boy Advance - MarioKart Super Circuit
Nintendo GameCube - Luigi's Mansion
---
Nintendo DS - MarioKart DS
PlayStation 3 - Uncharted 2: Among Thieves
Nintendo Wii - Super Mario Galaxy
---
Nintendo 3DS - Resident Evil: Revelations
---
PC - Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
---

Interesting to note; Among all my consoles, I don't have a PS2. Also, nearly each of my consoles are still played by me regularly and are almost all connected to a TV, except the GameCube and PS1.
Graphics don't really interest me and neither do features certain consoles provide (which usually have something to do with online or multiplayer) which ultimately prove useless, but gameplay and story do. Therefore I'll have as much fun playing Duck Hunt (even though that has no story) than I do playing Uncharted. That's not to say I don't care a new console looks good. As is natural in evolution, I'd expect a new generation to be noticeably above the previous, which is why I was mildly disappointed in the Wii.
I didn't include remakes in the list above, otherwise Yoshi's Island, Super Mario 64 DS and Ocarina of Time 3D would have won in the GBA, DS and 3DS category respectively. This does mean though, that Mario 64 misses the boat twice. I like the game better than I do Galaxy, but the N64 is just that much better than Wii...

Anyway, there it is. My introduction. Quite a lot of text really, but I'll try to keep it down from now on! ;)
