You dont get it, the mass market is not going to bite this time, a graphical leap is not going to be enough to catch peoples atention out of the usual suspects...Sony and Microsoft should come up with something way more revolutionary to make the system appealing to non gamers, which are the biggest percentage of consumers this gen (and im talking about HD consoles)

I think that the bigger the leap in graphics the more people will want it. I don't want them to change it up to much. I want better graphics some more options with achievements. Maybe a open world where you can spend achievement points and dress up your place or apartment. Maybe that can be it, something that will attract people who have Xbox live accounts. You stay in a appartment and  your friends and you can meet up at the pool. You could buy cool dive moves or play different mini games that have to do with the pool room. however people can see your achievements the same as they are now but if they want they can visit your apartment and check out your most charished game achievements. Maybe you can move up to cooler parts of the apartment once you achieve so many points. I think kinect was enough for me, I'm sick of all the casual sh-t and I'm sure most are too. The next gen will be more about graphics then gimmicks. You could be right but I think Nintendo has got this area covered and I don't think the next gen is going to produce the next big thing. That is still about 10-20 years out. THen we will have home entertainment divices you could sit in. I'm just rambling. However I think leave the casual stuff to nintendo and focuse on hardcore for the twins. I get you are more into the nintendo theme but I love the hardcore and like the option to go play the nintendo.
