I kind of feel like you don't want the Nintendo first party titles because of the image it will receive as well as the people who play it.

I mean 2D platformers. If Nintendo puts out a platformer that could rival LittleBigplanet psp, then we'll talk. Mario Zelda & Metroid have been used for the past 20 years, so they automatically don't count. I'm talking new ips here. |
So why dosn't Mario count because its been succesful for 20 years? Thats was and still is a 2D platformer and is still better than LBP! Also Mario Kart, still better than Modnations Racer and chances are better than LBP Karting.

No, you can play a user created version of Mario. Not the same. Mario has been the platforming standard fot the past 20 years. LBP may be great, but its not Mario.
