They like these kind of "hot facts", they make out of thin air like 15000 Iranian troops in Syria - surprisingly straightforward and stupid even for yellowish media. Yet it's pretty revealing how Israel, an old Syria's foe and bully, prefer to keep it's own head down, while Turkey is going rampant (relatively). |
It's not surprising, really. Israel's trying to save its leeway for stuff they think they really need to do, whereas Turkey has more leeway and is trying to build its regional influence, a key plank of Erdogan's foreign policy.
