| happydolphin said: Hey guys. So I've been having a really interesting discussion with S.T.A.G.E. in the "Nintendo seems to not be able to please its fans" thread. It came to the topic of what makes gamers in the general gamer crowd uninterested in Nintendo's platform. My question for you guys is as follows. Which of the following criteria are required for your to purchase a Nintendo console?
I'll be very interested to hear your thoughts. And Nintendo fans, please let them express themselves without taking insult, this thread is about their honest opinions, something fans and Nintendo as a company should have been aware of a long time ago. Thanks for sharing

I've highlighted the important ones in bold. The most important of all is exclusives - both first and third party. Exclusives sell consoles at the end of the day, although for PS3 and 360 owners I'd say that third party exclusives would influence that crowd more.
Both WRPGs and JRPGs are going to be a much better experience on the U thanks to the touchscreen, FIFA, Madden and Tiger Woods will all benefit from the GamePad and ZombiU is going to be a system seller that will appeal to the PS3 and 360 crowd. I've seen a few people on various forums saying that they're considering to only own one console this gen, and split their gaming between the U and their PC. Certainly going to be interesting to see how well the U will sell, particularly when you consider that the U will more than likely be around £100 or more cheaper than a PS4 and 720.
