Why do people always bring up Nintendo being childish and for kids? Mario & Zelda games are far more mature gameplay wise than COD, Uncharted & Gears etc just because it lacks guns and has gameplay doesn't make it childish. And also what difference does it make if its rated M or not?

Face the facts bro, what do you think M stands for. If it's rated M, then it's mature!

I have to disagree with you there.  It's rated M because the content is too graphic or disturbing (things like vulgar language, nudity, gore, blood, violence).  That doesn't actually make the game mature, or the player mature.  Maturity is a really odd word, though because it's hard to really say what makes something "mature" in this sense.  When I see people use it in terms of gaming, it looks like something of pride rather than of preference.

If you don't like games that are too cartoony, that doesn't mean you like mature games or you are mature.  You have a different taste in games, and that's fine.  Don't bash other people because of it, though.

Thats what I was trying to say. Guess it didn't come over that way!
