Please, posts like these are unnecessary. Let's just have courteous debate without trolling. And as for what others have said, it's not heresy to mention the 3DS in this discussion. It's the main competing handheld to the Vita and it went through a similar period of struggling sales. It's very relevant to what we're talking about here.
As far as the current discussion goes, there's a difference between games people on the internet love and what the general public cares about. Gravity Rush is a great game, but its appeal is niche. Call of Duty is much more mainstream and has some level of sales potential. If one looks at the PSP, its best selling games were titles like Grand Theft Auto and Monster Hunter. As much as I love a game like Jeanne D'Arc, it wasn't a killer app for the system.
Uncharted isn't much of a system seller either. It's a fairly popular series, but it's pretty evident that it won't give the Vita much of a long term boost. Nintendo has the advantage of Mario and other consistently popular IPs. Sony needs to lower the Vita's price and focus on mainstream titles which appeal to broader audiences (LBP and Modnation Racers are a step in the right direction). This will likely take around 2-3 years, but the Vita will be healthier in the long term because of it.
