Haha, well you're a guy. That's normal :)

For what it's worth, here's a male lebanese model.

So, I just found this on ask.com. She has a lovely voice, I think she's cute but I've seen hotter on tv I think:

He looks very mediterranean to me. Was I wrong to assume most lebanese have more of a semitic phenotype?

Yeah, I think so. Semitic is mostly any people group from the historical canaan area I think, and the lebanese are particularly called Pheonecian. They would look somewhat different from Egyptians, northwestern africans and arabians. As such I would say they look closer to jewish or jordanian I guess. They're originally the Pheonecian people. Syria which is also close in that region, has people with blue and grey eyes, some are even blond. They can be quite caucasian. Having said that, most are olive skinned I believe (from my exposure at least ;) )

The model name is Mrad Mouwad.

Hard to tell what they resemble without seeing lots of people of that origin I guess, but it's not really surprising that you think he looks mediterranean, lebanon is on the mediterranean.

It's an old, semi-outdated anthropologic term to refer to a group of people sharing certain physical characteristics, like a sub-ethny, that I still find quite useful. Mediterranean is the type you often found on mediterranean european countries (not sure about berbers from North Africa, I think they're included, but I could be wrong). I read once it was common on lebanese christians too.

Just saying because personally I think the mediterranean phenotype is more aesthethically pleasing than semitic types :P
