Android, Windows, Linux, etc allow you freedom to pick and choose what ever you want. Apple forces you to use their products.

But I'm not trying to convince you to change. Just stating that there are other options that are equal or better depending on your preference.

I prefer to walk out of a store with my new phone or tablet and only have to log in with my gmail account for it to nearly instantly have all my music, photos, videos, contacts, etc on my device. I don't want to have to go home and connect it to anything for hours while it replicates.

I don't need to change something if it works well enough. iTunes works well enough.

You can do that with an iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad.
