(1) Xbox, PS2 and GC were equally powerful. That will not be the case in the next gen, so the comparison doesn't apply.
(2) PS2 had a bunch of casual gamers that went for Wii, and some gamers chose X360. In the end, core gamers stayed on HD systems.
(3) Did you follow when I said Luminous Engine and Unreal Engine 4?
(4) Handhelds face competition with smartphones. Home consoles don't, so the comparison doesn't apply.
