The idea is cool, but the problem is when developers make a PS3 game they don't know if the user has a Vita or not, so I don't think a lot of developers are going to make games that work the same way as the Wii U. Sony might be smart to have a PS3 Vita combo pack that you get $50 off if you buy them together.
