yes, it will cost A LOT more to run it that low. Are you crazy?
You realize the more it runs the more it costs right?
I live in southwest Arizona... fucking over 100 by 9am here and we don't put AC below 77 during the day and 75 at night. Why in the world do you need it at 70? If I were your dad I'd get a programmable thermostat that has a passcode.
