I was always libertarian to a degree. I grew up in a conservative home in a very liberal town. I always agreed with my parents on the economic stuff; I don't want the government to force itself into the economy, because it always screws everything up.

But I disagreed with them on the social issues, because their argument was always, always based on religion. And I couldn't agree with that because not everyone is Christian. It wasn't until college that I started to figure this out though. The only major changes that I've gone through are becoming more libertarian.
