Yeah, every game doesn't have to sell like COD to be called a success, but Okami sold poor, you can't deny that. It was hyped by videogame's media, but it didn't do any good, at the end. When it sold bad on PS2 everyone said that it was because of the PS3 launch. Then, it sold poor on Wii and there was no excuse. Obviously Okami is a charming title, and even though I didn't like it, it doesn't mean it was a bad game,, but if we can argue about quality, we can't discuss about sales. |
Hyped? Is every good hyped game that doesnt sell considered a flop? Killzone 2 was also hyped to death but didnt sell great numbers, yet its generally accepted as a great game, with a nice 92 on metacritic. I dont remember there being any hype at all for Ôkami. It became a cult hit like Demon's Souls, a small fanbase that was very fond of the game.
