Make sure the games you get are actually playable on the Vita. There was a REALLY good list that I found about a month ago. I think it was on Neogaf or something. I'll try to find it.

I thought if you accessed PSN with your Vita the list of PSP games were all compatible with the system (or at least it wouldn't let you download the non-compatible ones). If not, thank god you told me...

I thought that too.  IGN posted a video stating this but they were wrong.  Some games are officially supported (you can buy them from the PSN via the Vita).  Some games work but only if you download them from the PS3 and port them to the Vita.  Some games aren't supported at all and the Vita won't recognize them, even if you connect it to the PS3.

They add more from time to time, though.  Originally, Hot Shots Tennis wasn't supported but a few weeks ago, they added it to the list of officially supported games.

Of the titiles I own (not including PS1 titles) these don't work:

  • Resistance Retribution
  • Syphon Filter Dark Mirror
  • Tetris (PS Mini)
  • Mod Nation Racers
  • Pursuit Force

Those are off the top of my head.  I'll find that list for you as soon as possible.  For the record, ANY game you see available on the Vita PSN Store (I can't get used to calling it the SEN) works on the Vita.
