On topic, I think that Kinect could have been used in a better way, gamewise, by Microsoft. There is no game for it that I'm interested in.

On the other hand it was incredibly successful, it helped Microsoft to stretch 360's life, and it made a lot of money.

I protest!!!  Do not call half-wit bloggers journalists.  There is a distinct difference.

Bloggers are hacks who think their opinion, typically devoid of fact, is correct.  A journalist presents a story from an unbiased position and let you the reader develop an opinion.

Most of what you read on the Internet these days are slanted opinions from hacks with absolutely no journalistic skill who think because they're writing on a site that somehow means their opinion is more important than fact so long as they offer enough lies and hyperbole.

But I have to say that the article in the OP isn't totally wrong, it has some good points, even though it underline negatives Kinect aspects, most of all.
