The state of the Game Industry makes me very sad. Where a series can sell 3 million and not be profitable. Look at Kingdom of Alamur.
Back in the PS1/N64 days selling a million was a tremendous accomplishment. The way we are going we are really going to see 1-2 big franchises that have an annual from each publisher:
1) SE: Final Fantasy
2) Capcom: RE
3) THQ: Saint's Row
4) EA: Sports, Battlefield
5) Activision: COD
That sounds like a 'great' annual schedule to me! *sarcasm*
