I saw this a few days ago, but yeah, like already said, the guy is basically a re-branded Nazi. It sickens me that Greece elected any of his party to parliament. Glad he showed his true colours in this sickening way though, hopefully the Greeks will not vote for his despicable party now.

Its not surprising to me.

It proves that people like Hitler can still be elected today. If the NDSAP was still alive today, it'd look like Golden Dawn, and I'm sure Hitler/Goebells/Himmler would have punched the commie lady, too.

Oh, and technically, Golden Dawn isn't a right-wing party, its nationalist. I don't believe their economic answer is free-market right wing ideas, so shouldn't be noted as being right wing.

The right wing and free markets have not been aligned historically, that has only been the case in Europe after the rise of Labour and the fall of old-school liberalism (when the old-school liberals who were more market-oriented migrated to the Conservatives and the more people-oriented liberals migrated to Labour), and in America where the right aligned with business interests from the beginning. It was long that the Conservatives were an anti-business party in Great Britain, for instance. Left and Right is more a social function than an economic one, which is why you get people like Hitler and Stalin who had so much in common about how to run a country, but were otherwise out to destroy each other over core ideological disagreements.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
