If you took my Kinect away at this point, I would freak. Last week I was sick and moved my Xbox into the bedroom and as Im laying there, i'm like, I'll finish Limbo. "Xbox Bing Limbo." Nothing happened. I said it three time before I realized the Kinect wasn't there. I go through the menu, get to limbo,play the game. I then go to watch some Tru Blood. "Xbox Apps" Nothing. /cry After the first episode, I go "Xbox next Episode". Nothing. Wake up the controller. Wait for it to register, click click click. It's SO annoying. I use it constantly. All the time. ALL THE TIME. And I absolutely love it and wish I could run my whole TV setup through it. I love that when I'm cooking I can pause the show and go tot he next episode and rewind verbally. I love that when I'm working on my computer across the room I can control the Tv and never stop typing.
And yes. I would pay the $129 I paid for my Kinect just for that feature. And next gen, it's gonna to be in the box for every single user. Mark it down. And THEN developers really have the motivation to use it, when the potential install base is 60 million+ instead of 20 late in a cycle.
Can't we all just get along and play our games in peace?
