I agree with Spurgey and Nightwish about N64. It was saddening back then to see how the stores got less and less N64 games while the PS1 and PS2 where going strong. I was obviously happily surprised though when I got myself a Gamecube and witnessed the awesomeness of Super Mario Sunshine and Luigi's Mansion =) (Eventually, along with 27 more titles. No other console did I get that many games for.)

And then there was Wii... I borrowed the awesome Super Mario Galaxy, I (most recently) bought Super Mario Galaxy 2, I bought and played through the mediocre Metroid Prime 3, I enjoyed both Zelda titles and I still enjoy Super Smash Brother Brawl, but that's it. For a Nintendo console it was a freakin' disaster for me. However, I do realized that I completely missed out on Donkey Kong Country, but the reason to that is that I'm not familiar with the series, and without the nostalgia, I'm not too sure it's worth my time.

Luckily, Xbox 360 was there to take its place, while the DS was the most awesome handheld that I've ever had. So anything can happen this upcoming gen, and I'm looking forward to the 'changes'!
