mmmm .......wiimote is not camera based motion
Kinect is the eytoy ripoff
so hold your hate a bit...

Hold my hate? Did you even read what I referring to? It's in the OP...

“With Wii, when we brought out motion controls and introduced that as a new idea in gaming, initially there were people who didn’t understand it. Three years later, our competitors both came out with their own motion control systems,” he said, referring to Xbox Kinect and Playstation Move.

He mentioned that they introduced motion controls as a new idea in gaming and said the competitors then released their own in the Kinect and Move, yet conviniently omits the fact that the Eyetoy released and introduced motion as a style of gaming during the PS2 era.

So what I was saying is that if Kinect is used as an example for "Motion controls in gaming" why can't we counter his point with the Eyetoy? It doesn't matter whether Kinect is an Eyetoy ripoff or not and in fact, claiming it as being just that only enhances my argument.

No hate resides here pal.

People clearly IGNORE THE FACT Nintendo introduced everyone to this idea with the POWER GLOVE for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES).

You are aware that Nintendo had no hand in the design, manufacturing or release of the Power Glove right?

Nintendo also did not design or manufacture the 3d display in the 3ds so what?  The Power Glove is still a Officially licenced Nintendo product.

Btw when does something belong to a company? Does Foxcom also own the Ipad because its manufactured there?  Or does a LOGO on an Item make it belong to the company? I could also argue that Sony is not selling TV's they sell cases with Samsung Panels inside.

But the thing is all people understood what I wanted to say  which was " SONY was not FIRST!" (as usual)

BTW:
There is no mistake in the "nintendo introduced us to this idea with the power glove" because Nintendo DID.
As  the Playstation did with Resident Evil  because it first appeared there in gaming context.
