i don't know if the console would be able to stream without delay to the SmartGlass. Even if that was the case, i think Wii U will still be very successful no matter what

They can't, it's as potential as using Remote desktop connection in windows. It's done over the internet.

Not so certain of that. With the existing Xbox Companion Apps (and SmartGlass is the next version of this) it works on home network as a peer after initial connection through Xbox Live.

You may be right, but two issues are yet unresolved.

1) The geolocation sensors used in the WiiU pad.

2) The need to hold two devices rather than just one with the WiiU pad.

Lastly, even if smartglass matched the WiiU pad in capability one day or even today, that doesn't render the WiiU tablet irrelevant.

Defending such a statement would simply be rooted in anti-Nintendo sentiment. I'm not saying that's you, but I am saying, now that we've covered all the points,

.

1) Are you saying that the Wii U pad is likely to have more sensors than a smartphone or tablet?  What sensors does the Wii U have? I know it has sensors for motion, but what else? Does it have GPS? NFC? etc.

Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.
