Making the player feel awesome for coming up with a unique way to complete the mission should be the goal. Much like finding a shortcut in a platformer, or fighting off ten enemies at once in an action game makes one feel.

The trailer is not a good judge of this because they might be cherry picking a cool moment (and the game will have you do this exact thing like 20 times) or that might be the only possible way of doing the mission.


agreed gta mixed with deus ex different possible approaches and assassin's creed ease of gameplay... could be nice... especially with realy differe level.... th percentage of agression bar is already a godd sign that you'll have different approach... by either avoiding confrontation taking them out early or just go gun blazing...
