No what happens is you get people skipping good games because those games don't line up with what reviewers expect. Does it have hype, the best graphics, the most content etc.
Nier only ended up with 69%? Oh well it must be worthless. Dragon's Dogma below 80%? Oh well it clearly isn't an AAA game like Skyrim, no point in playing it.
I want people to be more concerned about the content of the review than the final score.
