I'd give this guy a chance to shine first. His ass is sore from sitting on his throne for these past years.
..and if FF VII is ever to be remade, no matter who will do it, even if NOT S-E for some weird reason, they will just blow it. Even if S-E would get their crap together, get old team back and do everything to not have this game in developement for decades, it will probably end up like Duke Nukem Forever where hype and way too many expectations from fans will cause it to suck in our eyes.
