Since it’s become fashionable to create Super Smash Bros.-styled games, what if a similar game was made that featured only characters that had their time, but then fizzled out.  Who would be on the roster?  Feel free to add whatever special moves/final smashes you feel like including, if any.

My picks:

Duke Nukem

B-up: Jet pack: self-explanatory

B-down: Stripper Distraction: Duke whips out some cash, summoning strippers, who paralyze any opponents in range by distracting them.

B-forward: Ego Shield: Duke’s inflated self image acts as a shield, much like Pit’s mirror shield.

B: Mighty Foot: a powerful kick that hits an opponent in the face or crotch, depending on whether Duke is in the air.

Final Smash: Development Hell: Duke jumps off-screen and stays there for 12 seconds, then drops down and sends out a shockwave of disappointment on impact.

Bubsy

B-up: Portable Hole: a teleport move that sees Bubsy drop a cartoonish hole which he falls through and reappears in a chosen direction within a limited range.

B-down: Obnoxiousness: Bubsy’s attempt to be cool repels characters a certain distance without damaging them, like Mario’s Fludd pack

B-forward: Annoying Nephew: Bubsy throws his nephew at an opponent.  The nephew latches on and diminishes the victim’s speed and jump height.

B: Nerf gun: self-explanatory

Final Smash: 3D Transition: Bubsy causes the camera to move in confusing directions and angles.

Alex Kidd

B-up: Peticopter: a recovery move much like Solid Snake’s cypher

B-down: Cameo Return: Alex swings his racquet from Sega Superstars Tennis to reflect projectiles.

B-forward: Cameo Cycle: Alex rides his motorcycle from Sega All-Stars Racing like Wario on his bike.

B: Shellcore Punch: Alex punches with an oversized fist.

Final Smash: Mascot Envy: His rage over Sonic replacing him turns him into a powered-up version of himself, like the Wario Man final smash.
