3d isn't bad but the thing that most people don't like about it is wearing glasses. I've played gt5, uncharted 3 and resistance 3 in 3d and they were all fantastic. Watching sport in 3d works really well too. I also watched the masters in 3d and several football matches and it definitely has potential. However the glasses are a big barrier I think. They are still quite chunky and cost too much as well. If all 3d became glasses free as standard it would definitely pick up.
