I don't know why people are clamoring for unveiling of Xbox Next with a year and a half to go. MS unveiled the 1st Xbox the year it came out, they unveiled the 360 the year it came out. So I don't expect Xbox Next to be unveiled sooner.
I also believe that if the Wii U does not take off like a Rocket MS could even move the Xbox Next to 2014 and launch with better than normal launch titles and bring the cost down. My thoughts are they would really like to launch a console without an optical drive and I would think the thing that would really set up the next gen is SSD rather than HDD.
Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.
