This gen saw an increase of $10  to help off set the cost of games yet companies were still going  in the red even if their games are selling almost a million copies. Games now are taking 3 to 4 years to create with thousand of people working on them. With the release of the new FF tech demo and all this talk of smart glass do you think that Developers will ask for another raise in game price. The dollar is already in decline so 60 in 2005 is equivalent to 70 today.

So will games cost 70 next gen? Will you be willing to pay that much for your new games?

First few words and already false information, unless games were 49 dollars in America last gen. Here in Europe games were 59 euros in PS2 days. I remember buying GTA San Andreas for 60 euros back in 2004. Before the Euro and before PS2, games were even more expensive during the SNES and PS1/N64 days.

Game development is comparable to last gen, you act like all games take 3 to 4 years to make. Uncharted 2, one of the best games this gen was only created in 18 months.
