To make this game multiplat they either have to get rid of everything that makes this game stand out and leave it as a generic as hell fps or you will need additional, fricken expenive hardware to play. And even then I don't think an iPad can do everything a Wii U Pad can do, like all the interactions with the TV screen (scoping, scanning). Also, no Buttons on iPad means constant switching between controller an iPad. Sounds like a sure-fire success to me.

iPad? Since when would either Sony or MS ever make a game on their consoles require the use of an iPad?

On PS3/4 the WiiU tablet controller can be replaced by a Vita, and Vita is cheaper than iPad. On 360/720 anything a tablet controller can do Kinect can do, possibly better, Including using voice commands.

If a PS3 version required a Vita I would never buy it. Then again I haven't played survival horror for ages, and I think I'm gonna prefer The Last of Us over a ported ZombieU, with or without compulsory Vita useage. If it's a PS4 launch title then I'm unlikely to ever buy it because I'll be getting a PS4 at least 2 years after PS4 launches, possibly longer. So only way I'll ever get this game is if I Wii U, which is unlikely because I hate Mario with a passion (almost as much as I hate Mickey Mouse) and never want him in my house. In all other respects Nintendo is great.
