I think it was G4 or some other site, but they brought out a good point. How many people are going to want to do something like this. It requires extra effort (though not much), especially considering that people today are unwilling to "read" a picture menu, to add extra controls to a game.

In addition the people who are interested in the in-depth information are already using their smart phones etc to look up the information themselves. All in all it comes up as a rather unneeded addition.

The same logic applies to the WiiU, FYI.

The difference is the WiiU comes with the tech as standard so if you are making a WiiU games you know everyone will be using the touch screen controller to play unlike the 360 where it is extra, and an unneed edition so late in the platform's life.

I understand the logic, but fails to take into account that already there are more people with Xbox 360s and some sort of tablet/smartphone that will work with SmartGlass then the number of Wii U's that will likely sell in the 1st year.  So do you think that developers wouldnt take this into account?  Do you think that Ubisoft isnt thinking hey lets also add the puppet master mode to Just Dance 4?  Etc. Etc.    Believe me publishers will know this.

Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.
