You've a good argument with the fact it's a prequel, and the fact it's launching late into the gen, but I think 3mill is just too low. God Of War III was the highest selling of the lot, the franchise grew from last gen to this gen, Ascension has a lot going for it in that regard. Plus it has multiplayer, which is looking like a lot of fun, multiplayer in theory should lengthen it's legs in the long run.
