So is the current method of selling games through the PSN Store.

Using that same logic, the Wii is b/c with the NES, SNES, N64, SMS, Genesis, C64, and arcade machines -- not just the Gamecube.

Personally, making you rebuy games to me is much ado about nothing.

It is possible they will offer it as part of Playstation plus and you will be able to stream any game in the catalog as lond as you are a PS+ subscriber. No rebuying games at all.

That would be very nice. It would also mean that they would be giving you access to the IP for nothing more than a monthly charge, which also would be very nice and very unexpected.  I will admit that I had not thought of that ... and the reports did not indicate anything like that but more along the lines of a purchase or pay-to-play model. Thus, I think such a scenario may be wishful thinking.  But if it does come about in the way you describe, it might make me look into a PS3.

I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble.
