Maybe it doesn't come across like that in US but to me in Europe it does... not only that but its pretty obviously a transparent plea for all those Wii owners who don't realise they really rather have an Xbox to buy one so MS has a chance of catching up on Wii sales...

 No, it actually sounds the same to us here in the U.S.

In one small statement he finds a way to almost completely discredit not only the wii, but also the PS3.

It is the same tactics political campaigns use.  Seemed like a low blow to use the word graduate.
