Right now I am working on finishing Act 2 inferno with my wizard and it's no piece of cake but it's doable...( I was stucked for a while in one dungeon and had to skip all the elites to get through that one after trying to reload it 15 times + and dying countless times).

My wizard is running 32k hp, 6200 armor, 400 resists , 20.4k dps and 40 MF right now( with buffs) and I did not spend a lot on gear ( less than 900k gold , most expensive piece is a 400k shoulder plate I got last night, weapon was like 200k).

Yeah, I have no idea about Act 2 specifically, but I heard there was a petition to Blizzard because his skills aren't balanced right for Inferno and there is a place people simply can't pass.

Is that one of them?  I saw a get to level 60 in hardcore.  That would be pretty retarded.  It's extremely easy to get horded in nightmare and die, and I can't imagine Hell/Inferno are any better.

 

For the record the furthest char in hardcore is actually a barbarian.

Someone finally beat Belial today ( he's been the Brick Wall where every HC char was dying)..

And he didn't do it buying Act 3 gear on the AH because noone was in Act 3 yet.......

And he's not the exception, the furthest chars in HC inferno are all barbarians and monks..
