I somewhat agree. Not-so-much in the copying is a bad thing, but more in that it will be the worse of the two (just my personal guess). I assume Sony will add some of their own flair to the game (and I believe we've already seen some of that with how they talk about the stages, I would be willing to guarantee it has better online multiplayer) so it will not be a carbon copy.
I'm actually relieved they're honest about copying the game. I know some reason people keep trying to condemn them by saying they even have copies of the game in the office but I would be a lot more worried if they weren't so outright with their plan and tried to say no, it's original, I sweat! Playstation (and even Microsoft) fans have been saying for years they would love a Smash Bros with Sony properties and that's exactly what Sony is giving those fans. Can you really fault them for that?
