Yeah haha You still need your Xbox controller to use smartglass. That's even the way they showed it: Pause the game, pick up your tablet, draw something / look something up on the tablet, pick up your controller.

This is not Microsoft's way to compete with the Wii U. This is Microsoft trying to gain market share in the living room. It's why they entered this business in the first place. Microsoft is focusing on making the Xbox a media hub.

and unlike the wiiU you can't play your games directlly on the controller, when the tv is needed for something more important like porn
