what if the ps3 ends up finishing 2nd? How would u feel about ur definite prediction?

I would be very surprised if this happened, and even if it did my prediction right now is the right one to make based on the 360's current lead and habit of selling well during the holiday season.  Also, I agree with other posters that it's lifetime sales that matter; this gen's sales don't stop just because the next-gen systems hit the stores.  I should've stated that differently than I did.  I was assuming sales for the current systems will drop off a lot after the next-gen comes out, none of them continuing to sell a ton and have huge legs like the ps2.
