That sounds like the dumbest idea i've heard in a while. Not only is every tablet/phone different, they also don't have any buttons or thumbsticks. In almost every possible way, that idea would fail miserably.

What would it fail to do, exactly? It sounds like you're assuming it would be an attempt to do exactly what the Wii U controller does, but it probably wouldn't.


I think the more relevant questions is- what the hell would it do & what would be the point of connecting random tablet devices to your console? You couldn't actually play games with your tablet/phone, so then what? How would it add to a gameplay experience, especially when every phone is different and probably most wouldn't even work...
