Your criteria are far too general for anyone to make even a educated guess. I would however recommend that you self educate yourself through a online resource like animenewsnetwork.com where you can view the synopsis's for series and movies. That way you can see in advance what series you might find intriguing. I considered making some very general safe recommendations, but I would at least need a age guideline to do so. Some material is after all inappropriate for some viewers, and I wouldn't want to recommend something too juvenile.
