But the city takes a toll on ya and it's always nice to go back to that calm, quiet island.

I got the worst of both worlds, I live in a town with horrible traffic, filthy sea, high cost of life, inefficient services and filled with old idiots, brain dead commies that miss Stalin and his Italian serf Togliatti and keep on reelecting the same majority of left wing morons and thieves that have ruined and robbed this town for the last 40 years, since the christian democrats lost and stopped doing it. My late dad was from here, my mom came here when she was 15, now she's 75, she can't stand this town anymore and she's going to move to Tuscany. Still filled with commies, but younger and less stupid than Ligurian ones, the sea is a lot cleaner and the cost of life lower.
I'll go where I'll find work, so most probably I too won't remain here.
We have 8 cats, a dog and two turtles.
