I just sold my Scarbringer on the Auction House. The in game sell value would have been 968 gold. I checked out what price people were asking for it and realized mine had rolled some pretty nice stats compared to others. I went with a starting bid of 20,000 with 50,000 buy out and in a couple hours someone had already paid 50,000 for it.
I'm not sure if I should have asked for more but I'm really happy with what I got and it's much better than what I would have gotten from an in-game merchant.
