Hey everyone. I havent been on VGC for some weeks. Thats mainly due to work and lots of new games I'm playing. In 2 weeks Ive finished Uncharted 1, Killzone 2 and halfway through Uncharted 2 ( Chapter 15 ) and Halfway through GOW3. Also about halfway through R&C TOD and 1/4 way through Resistance 1. I have to say so far Uncharted is the best series Ive ever played on Playstation. Especially number 2. Very cinematic. The story itself is pretty standard but the way its told is top notch.Something Ive come to notice is this:Many people put 360 and PS3 in the same bracket for games referring to them as the HD twins. And that they have similar games. They sort of do, but a big difference Ive noticed is that almost all the PS3 exclusives Ive played so far take control away from the player alot. Well certainly in comparison to 360 exclusives. Also that the controls are alot looser on PS3 exclusives. They are not as responsive or tight as 360 exclusive titles. Very apparant in titles like GOW3, Uncharted and Killzone. This said, there is no way anyone who has a PS3 or 360 only can say as I have a HD console I dont need the other. The games feel very different even if from the same genre. Uncharted 1 & 2 are very forgiving for example compared to say Gears. You can take alot more time with aiming. Also Killzone 2 was the same. After being destroyed for the billiont time on Halo Reach on Legendary to be fairly comfortable on Killzone 2 was quite nice. Mistakes seem easier to get away with.This is the big difference Ive noticed playing through both exclusives firsthand. I have missed out until now owning only 1 of the HD consoles, but the upside is All my PS3 games have cost me less than a 10er. Bargain. And I'm loving it.Now I'm off to playthrough more of Uncharted 2. ( Just done the train part which was awesome ). And by god Cloe or Elena? Cmon Nate make your mind up!!!!! |

Hey everyone. Now the price has come down, I am getting a PS3 Slim for christmas. I have an idea of the 3 games I want with it. But maybe you guys can let me know of some exclusive PS3 titles I may not have played yet.
So far I want to own Uncharted 1, KZ2 and Heavy Rain. I can only expect my wife to get me 3 games at chrimbo.
But in January there will be great sales, so any reccomendations on exclusives will be great.
I have finished KZ2, nearly MGS4, and Uncharted 1. Also played alot of GT5P. So dont mention these am I'm already getting the ones I previously mentioned. Probably MGS4 at some point to.
Multi games I'll leave to my other system, as my collection on that is extensive and for a few other reasons that I dont need to mention here because it's irrelevant. So what exclusive reccomendations do you guys have.

It never got bought for me.
I was asking for one, but it never happened. Better late than never. Referring to beat them was the wrong word back then, Id watched it all at my mates and maybe played about an our while he took breaks. Something I miss on PS3 is coop splitscreen campaign though.

well yeah if you saw the playthrough, when you end up playing it for yourself you already know what to do so, it's going to be easier offcourse
