And what do you mean the controls feel looser? Killzone 2 is like that deliberately. Uncharted feels very smooth, not loose at all and I have no idea what you mean when you say GoW feels loose.

Not sure what the X360 controller is like for comparison, but i always thought the PS control sticks in general were too loose.

Rotate the analogue sticks clockwise to tune the looseness/tightness to your preference.

yes, if they don't twist initially, just keep twisting. They'll tighten up.
