Yeah, HD-DVD prices dropped dramatically with the Warner announcement. I had meant to sell my HD-DVD add on for my 360 and my HD-DVD's right after that to get a good price but I put it off for a few weeks.

When I went to sell my HD-DVD player I got $30 for it and when I traded my Heroes Season One set I got $7.50.

I wouldn't have been a bad idea to have just kept it if you got that little for it. I mean the discs still work even if the format is dead, and you could always stock up on bargain bin HD-DVD's when the real fire sales start.

I considered but I hated the idea of keeping a dead (or soon dead) format around, especially since the player had to sit ontop of my 360.  It didn't bother me a whole lot since the only HD-DVD's I had were ones I got for free (go go Netflix).
