| Panama said: Torchlight's aesthetics always appeared as though they borrow more heavily from WoW than D3. I always found that extremely odd, nothing wrong with that of course. Also there's nothing wrong with actually playing more than one game in a genre. When people throw out statements like 'D3 who?', I'm reminded of the hilarious apples and grapes analogy. As the game is only $20 I'll definitely be picking it up at launch. Also have backed Grim Dawn on kickstarter. |
I do not mind playing more than one game in a genre either. I am looking forward to both Torchlight 2 as well as backing Grim Dawn on Kickstarter. However, I was extremely disappointed with Diablo 3. The lag, disconnects, simple gameplay, and lack of individualization just killed the game for me.
