Create a change.org petition and see how it goes. Its worked for others... however, those others didn't have any criminal issues and were honor students or doing really well in college. You know productive members of society.
Sucks to see family lose like that, but as a cold bystander, I'd rather have people who don't want to help our society, leave it.
