What I do not get is how that would negate  a port...I heard a story of Alien: Colonial getting up and running on Wii U in 5 minutes with 2 lines of code.......

I believe that "2 lines of code" was in reference to getting the game to stream to the WiiU tablet.

Ah, that makes A LOT more sense. But still, the porting process would take relatively little time going from weaker hardware and porting up.
